Chalmer has played music in several bands since the early 80's, including The Vandals, The Hated, and his own Lounge Act. And is now releasing his 2nd solo project "Broken Pieces", his sound is influenced by artist such as Third Day, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Social Distortion , TSOL, Johnny Cash, and Frank Sinatra. His original songs are pulled straight from the heart and go from an edgy Christian Rock sound to very crisp and soulful. His latest EP "Broken Pieces" will be released in May 2010 which also features a version of "The Old Rugged Cross" like you have never heard before ! influenced by sounds of Social Distortion.
